March 17th, 2012 Amanda & Jason

Amanda and Jason's outdoor ceremony at the Muckenthaler Mansion was moved indoors due to rain but that didn't dampen this happy couple's spirits!  They were pronounced man and wife on dry ground and moved on to a fun reception.  We did a lot of interaction at this cozy wedding of close friends and family. 

Amanda and Jason come from a creative bunch so there were some poems and songs performed in their honor by other couples and the entire evening was very high energy.  We enhanced the atmosphere with several purple uplights and dance floor lighting and finally wrapped up the night at closing time and sent the Bride and Groom on their way.

Rick with the catering company was a man of many talents and a great help to us as the day-of coordinator.

March 3rd, 2012 Sean & Haley

What a sweet couple!  These two were fun and so easy to work with.  They met online through MySpace when she was 15 and he was 19.  The romance blossomed and continued for several years until they were married today at ages 19 and 23.

The vows were said on the beach and the guests moved on to enjoying dinner from a barbecue pit.  This was an intimate wedding of about 50 guests but we still did a lot of interaction once the event moved up into the Niguel Shores Clubhouse and showed them all a great time.  We special ordered a battery powered ceremony system upon finding out that there was no way to run power to the beach so that is a handy new piece of equipment to add to our selection.  The only other extra equipment we used tonight was our colored dance floor lighting.

Tabitha & Dan's Wedding Sept. 4th

Tabitha & Dan's wedding took place at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach.  It was a fabulous, beautiful place with top notch food and first rate staff.  If you are looking for a wedding venue, check this one out! 

Tabitha was very sweet and easy to work with and what a fun wedding - their friends were young and not afraid to be a little nutty! :)  Each member of the large wedding party picked out their own song for the Grand Entrance so that was something a little different. The photos shown here were provided by the bride and are much nicer to look at than our usual amateur photos.  Aren't they a striking couple?

Congratulations Tabitha and Dan!  We loved being a part of your day.

Jessica's 30th Birthday

We did a 30th Birthday party for Jessica on Oct 1st, 2011.  The theme was black and white so everyone showed up looking like old time photo albums.  Jessica is an event coordinator and so is her good friend Dee so there were a lot of fun attractions including a full bar, cupcake station, photo booth, a candy bar, and a Texas Hold 'Em tournament. For Dinner there was a buffet featuring chicken and homemade pasta salad.  People danced throughout the night and ended up in the pool around midnight.  Tacquito's and Bratwurst made an appearance for the after party.

June 26th, 2011 Lyndsay & Kyle

This was such a fun wedding.  Ceremony and reception were in the backyard of a Santa Ana residence.  In-N-Out burger catered for dinner which everyone had fun with.  We lit up the dance floor with our basic lighting and all of the guests dance to every song.  They didn't do all of the traditional formal dances - they just did shout outs to their parents and played songs dedicated to them.  They had a grand exit with sparklers and threw the bouquet before driving away.

Kerrie & Eric Aug. 28th, 2011

This is the second wedding we have Emcee'd for this family.  We had the pleasure of being at Kerrie's sister Kim's wedding in 2008.

Kerrie & Eric had a beautiful location for their Sunday evening wedding as you can see from the photos.  They were right on the water at the Oceanview Room on the military base in San Diego.  The dance floor was busy all night which is a little unusual for a Sunday night wedding but this group of guests stayed lively.

Caitlin's Birthday

16 year old birthday parties usually have a crowd that is somewhat finicky and hard to please.  This group was incredible!  We started out with a good selection of ice breakers to get them all laughing and having fun.  We had some competitions, prizes, and then slammed into the dancing.  None of the guests were ready to leave when the venue (Cypress Community Center) shut down.  Happy Birthday Caitlin and Dan!  We had soooo much fun!
